Week 1 - Breakdown of The concepts of Mastering and the duties and goals of a mastering engineer & analysing your own struggles and goals.

Week 2 - Breakdown of how and when to choose conventional DAWS for mastering (ProTools/Logic etc) versus Using Dedicated Mastering DAWS (Ozone & HOFA)

Week 3 - General EQ from a Mastering perspective.

Week 4 - Compression how to know when to use it, how to dial in a compressor, what to listen for, and how to choose the best compressor to use.

Week 5 - Advanced Mastering processes : Dynamic EQ, Multiband Compression, De-essing, and M/S (Mid/Side) EQ and Compression De-mystified.

Week 6 - Using colourful and spectral processors to bring life and character to a track

Week 7 - Ways of rescuing a less than stellar mix in the mastering stage & repairing damaged audio tracks

Week 8 - Limiting & Maximising to achieve loud competitive masters and how to avoid ruining your tracks when using them.

Week 9 - Comparative listening, using useful metering to make sure your work translates properly on different speakers.

Week 10 - Sample Rates, Dithering and Codecs de-mystified.

Week 11 - Sequencing Song order & metadata for an album or EP, Mastering for Digital files, Streaming, CD & Vinyl, and DDP creation for duplication.
